Following positive pre-application discussions with Planning Officers of Manchester City Council, Hourigan Planning (Chartered Town Planners) is preparing a full planning application on behalf of joint applicants Bowsall Developments Ltd and MSV Housing for a proposed residential scheme on land at Autometers Systems Ltd, 4B Albany Road, Chorlton, Manchester Road, M21 0AW.

The proposals include the demolition of the existing, under-used commercial building and the redevelopment of the land for the delivery of 40 no. new apartments.

We are now undertaking consultation on the emerging draft proposals so that the local community has an opportunity to engage in the process prior to a formal planning application being submitted.

All comments received will be used to inform and refine the planning application before it is submitted to Manchester City Council.

When the planning application has been submitted, the Council will notify surrounding residents as part of their own statutory consultation process.  Residents will then have a further opportunity to submit comments on the proposals directly to the Council.
