LAND ON THE CORNER OF FLAT LANE AND CHESTER ROAD, KELSALL (Consultation now closed)

Dec 9, 2022

Hourigan Planning is preparing a full planning application on behalf of Cheshire Green Property Ltd for a residential redevelopment scheme on land adjacent to Rookery Farm on the corner of Chester Road and Flat Lane, in Kelsall.

Some of the existing outbuildings would be demolished to make way for 9 new homes which would be accessed via a new vehicular access from Flat Lane.  The proposals also include improved new pedestrian links from Flat Lane to Chester Road and new tree & hedgerow planting.

We are now undertaking consultation on the emerging draft proposals so that the local community has an opportunity to engage in the process prior to a formal planning application being submitted.

All comments received will be used to inform and refine the planning application before it is submitted to Cheshire West and Chester Council.

When the planning application has been submitted, the Council will notify surrounding residents as part of their own statutory consultation process.  Residents will then have a further opportunity to submit comments on the proposals directly to the Council.

Please see further information on the proposed residential scheme using the consultation material provided on this page.
